SCRUTINEER TRAINING #NSWElec23
Get involved to safeguard the democratic process
Scrutineers are some of the most important people in the election process.
Candidates appoint scrutineers to watch the electoral commission staff conduct the election activities before, on, and after election day. They observe all parts of the election where ballots are handled. They are responsible for ensuring that election is conducted in a fair, impartial and transparent manner.
This YouTube video narrated by Liz Blake explains the Scrutineering process.
